- If you’re seeing any error like “QuickBooks was unable to write to the log file”, “There was a problem with the log file”, and “Exception TypeError: Unknown name”, there is a possibility that it is a QBWC 1085, or a QuickBooks Web Connector Error QBWC1085. This can be fixed by deleting QuickBooks Web Connector from C:\ProgramData\ Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup, or renaming QWCLOG.TXT to QWCLOGOLD.TXT in C:\ProgramData\Intuit\QBWebConnector\log. Please restart your system after making the changes.
